Clean with friendly service.

Clean with friendly service. We had the duplex cabin with a kitchenette; a great plus when you start looking for a place to eat. Since this was a road trip for the Husband and I, we had food supplies for breakfast and lunch. We stayed two days and loved being close to Bryce Canyon but far enough away from the fake cowboy town and maddening crowd at Ruby's. The first morning, I sat outside our room with a cup of coffee and watched a herd of horses grazing. Rooms are large, clean, and being restored (not remodeled) with new paint and fixtures. We had a flat screen TV, a faux fireplace that was fun when a May snow storm blew through. I like that the swimming pool is in its own building and covered for warmth. I would come back to Bryce Canyon Resort as this lodging is peaceful, comfortable, and clean.

The location of the hotel actually is great.

The location of the hotel actually is great. It is only about 10 minutes or so from the entrance to the Bryce National park and is right at the junction of Highway 12 and 63 to Bryce. Try to book the second floor rooms for a better scenic view outside just like in the cowboy Western movie. It is beautiful at night, walk out and see the stars come out in full force. It has a decent restaurant within walking distance (1 minute!). We had an Utah beef steak with baked potato, chili con carne and a Mexican dish for a decent price and were tasty. The waiters were friendly. We were surprised to see four waiters serving in such a small restaurant
